A few novelty points for this band – firstly the name which I find an irresistible proposition. Then there’s the song titles – in this case “Runaway Pram” which suggests a comic book delivery over what feels like something plucked from the 60’s and then funnelled through a 1979 indie strainer. Cue in versions in German and Russian and you have yourselves an international language, to help us avoid losing our young children on steep inclines. Remarkable / unremarkable – inherently interesting all the same. In reality it’s a great little pocket-sized post-new-wave twang.
