Guitarist and Longsight resident Aziz Ibrahim was the man Noel Gallagher described as having “the hardest job in the world” when he took over from John Squire in The Stone Roses. Instantly known for his highly individual guitar style, he has followed his work with the Roses with the recent works of Ian Brown. For the last 12 years bassist, Damon Minchella has been a member of Ocean Colour Scene; one of the last decade’s most successful bands. He has also been part of Paul Weller’s touring live band along with fellow band mate Steve Cradock for many years. Mick Talbot was one half of the highly lauded and multi platinum selling Style Council, one of Britain’s most innovative bands. Mick has played diversely with Jools Holland, Galliano and performed as the funky backbone of the Young Disciples. Providing the rhythm and percussion is Steve White, a man widely regarded as being one of this generation’s finest drummers. He has played drums on an incredible 39 hit records throughout the career of one of the UK’s most respected and influential musicians, Paul Weller. Steve has also played with Oasis, formed a deadly alliance with Damon as first call rhythm section with OCS and has played with a collection of legendary musicians over the years, including Paul McCartney, Dr John and Jimmy Page. More recently, he has been guesting at sold out drum clinics around the UK, advising and inspiring other drummers with his unique style and technique.
