Tsuji Giri and The Sonar Yen a blend the kind of the sonic soundscapes that owe as much to the early days of Factory as they do to post punk alt.rock, pre-world domination Geffen and C86. They  release a split single in the wake of In The City on SOVIET UNION.The Obsession (Thrill City label), style spotted b y the NME, The Face and I-D magazine, as well as local press - trash basement guitar sounds bounce off barking Detroit vocals and London '76 ideals.The Flow -  the electrifying atmosphere of a very early Verve, energizing it with driving rock beats and psychedelic mantras.Transelement - two Peel sessions under their belt, but its their self released mini-album "Pendletones" that’s got everyone talking.
