which comes at a time when "shoegazing"
is undergoing something of a reappraisal and revival, with Spacemen 3 and
Slowdive very much this year's Wire and Gang Of Four. Guitars chime and delay
over shifting, sweeping Sigur Ros soundscapes and at one point sound like
aeroplanes, which is never a bad thing. Meanwhile the lush, strong vocals of
singer Elaine rise and fall like a more grounded Liz Fraser. Lovely stuff ..”
