An historic moment beckons as not only do evil rocklords of Wrath, THE SCARAMANGA SIX (Leeds) perform a first gig with their 4th drummer, Mr Anthony Sargeant, but also they've only gone and got one of them WRATH SUPER SEVENS fantastic split 7" singles ready too. The irksome new single 'THE POISON PEN' (recorded with Mr Tim Smith from Cardiacs) is accompanied by the magnificent duodrummic cool cats, BEACHBUGGY with a teasing number called 'Nineteen'.

This gig is a joint celebration of Leedsomancunian good relations in a coming together of promotions between The Vines inimitable TRANSMISSION posse and Manchestermusic.co.uk's touring ELECTRIC CIRCUS.  THE OBSESSION  (with current EP "Wise Blood" out now on Soviet Union)   & PALO ALTO (with their latest EP out on Valentine Records)  have connections to the city across the Pennines and have their fair share of swaggering elegance and balls-out urgency.

A special night indeed.

ACCESS / PARKING : If you go past The Vine up The Headrow, past a couple of shops, there's an entrance to a yard where Big Lil's is. The yard goes behind the shops and comes out at the back of The Vine. You can park here 24/7. If car’s block this yard, it’s often people in Big Lil’s, who are usual amicable to move, assuming they haven’t been asked a million times already. Alternatively you can park on the opposite side of the road in the taxi bays after 6pm
