Celebrating grunge isn’t a bad thing – just ask
Nine Black Alps et al. Lodestone however don’t have the advantage of
international producers, but still manage to dish up dreamy, dirty rock i- often the faint vocals are hidden beyond the crunching
chords, but the real swagger of 6 strings sits under inspiring harmonies. The
end result is something like The Vines playing the Stone Roses. Their sonics celebrate the end of the 80’s with an energy that
champions the best of Mancunian rock (I mean proper Mancunian rock, not the STUPID, brain dead, legacies from
baggy..)
